About

I am Paul Flo Williams. Actually, Flo is only a nickname but it has become semi-official because there are three other Paul Williams at work, and I’ve often looked at other people’s more exotic names with envy, particularly that of Hieronymous Q. Stopcock, who persists in sending me product offers despite my unresponsiveness.

Having decided, at college, that database theory was dull, I ignored them for a decade until the chance came to save a struggling project to implement a timesheet system at work. I learned about databases on the fly and, many applications later, I’m still learning and re-working bits of Perl and other tools to use them better.
